The DMS Point of Sale (POS) module converts an existing DMS station into a fully functional sales terminal capable of handling credit cards, charges on account and cash sales. The POS module simplifies the day to day over the counter transactions, providing better cash drawer reconciliation, and eliminates the need for hand written receipts. Typical Point of Sale uses include: Daily cash walk in purchases Credit card transactions with automatic authorization Walk in payments on account Walk in purchases charged to existing accounts. Great for locations having drive up windows-a pick list can be printed to any remote printer. The POS module works well with both balance forward and Open Invoice billing operations. Balance Forward charges are included on any billing form, Open Invoice walk in charges on account will generate a duplicate invoice. Easy Cash drawer reconciliation at the end of the day is made possible by the cash drawer report. This report categorizes all of the transactions, (cash, check, credit card) and produces a detail listing of each transaction. Also included is the credit card settlement report from the credit card company. Because the Point of Sale system is fully integrated into DMS the operator can access all of the functions of DMS while using the Point of Sale module. What is included in the Point of Sale module?
