Please read these SMS Messaging Terms and Conditions carefully. By opting into any text messaging program offered by American Business Systems, Inc., you agree to these terms and conditions. 

1. Program Description 

American Business Systems, Inc. offers various text messaging programs designed to provide you with information, updates, and offers. These programs may include: 

  • Promotional Alerts: Special offers, sales, and marketing messages about our products/services. 

  • Transactional Alerts: Order confirmations, delivery and service updates, appointment reminders, and other non-marketing transactional messages. 

  • Customer Service Alerts: Support messages, responses to inquiries, and other customer service communications. 

 

2. User Consent and Opt-In 

By providing your mobile phone number and opting into our SMS program, you are giving American Business Systems, Inc. and its service providers express consent to send you recurring text messages to the mobile number you provided. Your consent is not required as a condition of purchasing any goods or services. 

You understand and agree that messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system (ATDS) or other automated technology. 

How to Opt-In: You can opt-in to our SMS program(s) by: 

  • Texting a keyword (e.g.,YES) to (847) 513-7868. 

  • Verbal confirmation over the phone with a customer support representative 

 

3. Message Frequency 

The number of messages you receive will vary depending on the program(s) you opt into and your interactions with us. You can expect to receive: 

  • For Promotional/Marketing programs: Approximately 1-2 messages per month. 

  • For Transactional programs: Messages will be sent only when triggered by your actions (e.g., order placed, delivery or service confirmed, appointment scheduled). 

  • For Customer Service programs: Messages sent as needed based on your inquiries. 

 

4. Message and Data Rates 

Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data rates may apply. For questions about your text plan or data plan, please contact your wireless provider. 

 

5. Supported Carriers 

Our SMS service is available on most major U.S. mobile carriers, including (but not limited to): AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint, Boost Mobile, MetroPCS, U.S. Cellular, Virgin Mobile, Cricket Wireless, and others. Please note that message delivery is subject to the effective transmission from your mobile network operator. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. 

6. How to Opt-Out / Stop Receiving Messages 

You can opt-out of receiving SMS messages from American Business Systems, Inc. at any time. 

  • To stop receiving all messages from our SMS program, reply with the keyword STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any message you receive from us. 

  • You will receive one final confirmation message indicating that you have been unsubscribed. No further messages will be sent to your mobile device from that program unless you explicitly opt-in again.

American Business Systems, Inc. does not warrant that the SMS service will be uninterrupted or error-free. 

11. Limitation of Liability 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, American Business Systems, Inc. will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use or inability to use the SMS service. 

12. Governing Law 

These SMS Messaging Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Route Runner for DMS Plus Privacy Policy

 

​RouteRunner for DMS Plus® works exclusively with the Dealership Management System (DMS Plus ®) by American Business Systems, Inc. RouteRunner for DMS Plus® provides mobile capabilities for Delivery Route drivers and Service technicians.

User Data: All data entered in this app by a route driver is stored on the driver’s device. The developers of this app has no means to access the data on the device in any way.

 

​Internet and File Write Permission: This app requires internet access to retrieve information from the dealer. The File Write Permission is used for the data backup.​

 

Device IDs: When you access the application via a mobile device, we collect and store a unique identification number associated with your device (“Device ID”).​

 

Third Party library: The driver can print receipts with the help third party library – Zebra SDK. This can be connected via Bluetooth.

 

​Permissions:

  • Photos: Apps usually request Photos permission when they need External File Storage (either Internal or External) for storing data. RouteRunner for DMS Plus® requires External File Storage for application logs.

  • Camera: The app needs access to the camera to allow the technician to take pictures of an installation. Is Data Shared With Any Third Party? We do not share any data with any third party.
